The 0.3% m/m rise in June and 0.4% q/q rise in Q2 (consensus & CE forecast 0.4%, BoE 0.3%) shows that the economy weathered the energy shock well in Q2. But with inflation yet to peak, we still think a slowdown is on the way later this year.
