Why aren’t crude prices lower?; EU mulls diesel release
Despite the pick-up in crude oil exports from the Middle East in late September, market participants appear to be factoring in a larger risk of crude flows falling back again than they did during the MoU-related supply glut in July. The upshot is that the current equilibrium is fragile and could easily be shattered if Iran steps up attacks on energy infrastructure in the region.
