Prices to pick up as demand slowly revives

The prices of most commodities rose in May on the back of the ongoing recovery in China’s economic activity and a gradual easing of lockdown conditions in the US and Europe. We think that most prices will make further gains from here, but they will still end the year lower than at end-2019.
